Crimson Fragmentation

This is a mixed-media piece I worked on with fellow Puget Sound based artists, Manmeet Oberoi and Joseph Gacula. It is themed after fragmented memories of another and forms of loss through the passage of time. Manmeet Oberoi conceptualized the idea of the photography with me and directed the composition of the image. I wrote the poem alongside the first drafts of the image to supplement the work while allowing it to be heavily interpretive. Manmeet also edited the poem and assisted in creating its final formatting. We worked with Joseph on the final image, who designed all of the special effects and had final say in the color choices and formatting of the image. It was first published in Clamor’s 20th Anniversary Journal.
